EYES: ELF Quad 'Silver Lining'

Today I decided to use ELF's quad Silver Lining
It has the prettiest colors! All of the colors are very pigmented as well. I put the darker lavender color all over my eyelid, the light lavender in the inner corner of my eye, and also on my brow bone. Then I applied the gray into my crease. Last I applied the dark purple color into the outer corner of my eye. Liner, Mascara, Lashes the TA DA! Done.

For the rest of my face I applied foundation, powder, bronzer, blush, and a peachy/ nude lip ♥

NOTD: NYC 'Spring Street'

Another NYC nail polish! After trying NYC In a New York Color Mintute Quick Dry Nail Polish, I decided I wanted to try another one! This color is "Spring Street" It's a super bright orange! Sorry for the crappy application, my son wanted to see what mommy was putting on his nails hehe.

If you like bright colors I would go for this one,
hope you enjoyed :D

Review: L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara

Recently I purchased  L'oreal's  Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara to try it out to see if I like it or not. Usually I lean towards Maybelline Mascaras, but after trying L'oreals Extra Volume Hydra Collagen Plumping Mascara and loving it, I decided to give it this a try.

What product claims: "For lashes that look a million times multiplied and perfectly defined, there is only one mascara New Voluminous Million Lashes. The built in clean sweep wiping system wipes the wipes the brush free of clumps leaving the perfect amount of mascara for an ultra- volumized clean lash look. The Millionizing brush evenly thickens lashes from root to tip. The result? Lashes look so multiplied, so clean, it's like seeing millions. Clump free, fragrance free."

It has a really cute tube, gold! It also snaps closed so no air gets in.

The brush is plastic, large enough to cover all of my lashes, and has a lot of bristles on it. It also is flexible and really does give the perfect amount of mascara on the brush every time.

Applying the mascara was great. It did not clump at all and covered evenly through out my lashes. It did not flake or leave smudges either. One thing I do not recommend while applying this mascara is to wait long amounts of time between each coat. When you do this it tends to clump :( So what I did was just apply continuously. Overall I really liked this mascara for what it does. BUT it really doesn't do what it claims as far as making your eyelashes "Millionized" I didn't get as much volume as I did length and it doesn't even mention length lol.

Would I buy this again? I would buy this again because I do like what it does to my lashes, but I have tried other mascaras that volumized my lashes better.

Has anyone else tried this? What do you think?

Review: ELF Regular & Waterproof Mascara

I am a pretty big fan of ELF cosmetics. Their prices are super cheap AND great on the quality of their products. Recently I decided to try their Regular & Waterproof Mascara. This is my first time EVER buying a mascara for so cheap, $1!!!

What product claims:
"Revolutionary Liquid-Flex™ Technology – Long-Lasting, Smudge and Smear Proof. One side is regular mascara, but turn over this tube, and the other side contains waterproof mascara so you are prepared for any occasion, place or type of weather!"

It's a duo regular and waterproof mascara, one on one side, the other on the other side. I found this great because you don't have to carry around 2 kinds of mascara if you are traveling.

I am not a fan of the brush, I usually go for bigger brushes. It does not separate your lashes, the more you put on the worse it gets and it did not give me any length nor volume. The Mascara it self it great, it covers well, does not smudge, smear, and it washes off easy.
*I am wearing this mascara in the Selina Gomez look I just recently did*

-one coat-

Would I buy this again? Overall I was disappointed in this ELF product. I have never disliked any of ELF's cosmetics until now :( The main problem is the brush. It did not separate my lashes at all, and I didn't get any length either. If I were to buy this again, I would just have it to carry in my purse for little touch ups or if I were traveling. I did like the effect it did on my lower lashes though :D  I have tried better out there.
Has anyone else tried this? What do you think?

N.Y.C Park Ave

In my recent trip to Target, I decided to get a NYC "In a New York Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish" In Park Ave It was only $1.79  It's probably one of my favorite nail colors from NYC. It's a grayish/brown smokey color. (Sorry I'm bad at describing colors) I defenitly recommend grabbing this! It dries super fast which is always a plus for me because I don't always have time to sit and let my nail polish dry.

Hope you enjoyed :)

6.  I am a messy eater. Just ask my mom and my husband and they'll defenitly vouch for that!

My current Lotion & Perfume

For Christmas I got some more lotions and a perfume...

My momma got me a lotion from bath and body works called secret wonderland. It's a light fragrance described as "a blend of strawberry, frosted jasmine petals and a white amber." I love it! It's not so heavy that it gives me a head ache, but it leaves its scent all day. Most importantly, it leaves my skin super soft!

Next I got this from my lovely sis-in-law, the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy gift set. It came with a 5 Oz bottle of perfume, a 1.7 Oz tube of shower gel and a 1.7 Oz of lotion. This scent is described as wild berries and mandarins, honey suckle, gardenia and jasmine. I love this as well. It is a little bit more of a heavy scent than what I usually go for, but it does not bug me at all. I love the smaller bottle so I can carry it in my purse if I want to use some later, and same with the lotion.

Hope you all enjoyed!

Review: Nexxus Heat Protexx

I have been looking for a heat protection spray for a while to use and I came across Nexxus Heat Protexx. It's their heat protection spray "a alcohol-free styling spray that acts as a barrier to absorb heat and prevent breakage for a smooth, frizz-free style." This sold me right off because I have naturally curly hair that gets SO frizzy, and on top of that I want my hair straight most of the time so I definitely need some kind of protection!

Directions: Spray on towel dried hair, brush through with comb. Do not rinse out. For maximum heat protection, spray lightly onto sections of dry hair before using a thermal styling iron.

This is my hair with only the heat protection spray, blow dried, and some what straightened. I have been using this for about 5 months now and I am very pleased with the results it has given me. My hair is less frizzy, soft and shiny. I also really like this because it has a good scent to it, leaving my hair smelling good all day :)

definitely recommend buying this. I bought this at Wal-Mart for around $11. It comes in a 8.5 Fl Oz. Bottle and so far has lasted me about 4 months!

*How I apply false eyelashes*

I never used to wear false eyelashes EVER unless it was Halloween. But a couple months ago I decided to give some a try and I have been wearing them ever since, they are so addicting! At first it was pretty tricky applying them but after reading up on tips and some practice, I feel like a pro. So I wanted to share with you guys how I apply them!

What you'll need:
*your favorite lashes
* eyelash adhesive
*small scissors
*tweezers
*eyelash curlers
*eyeliner of your choice
*mascara

First I put on eyeliner and a thin coat of mascara

Second I trim the lashes to my eye size then bend them so they can fit to my eye shape better. **When trimming eyelashes, trim them from the outer corner of the lashes**
Next I apply a good amount of glue to the lash band and let it dry until it is tacky. (If you let it dry until it is tacky, it will stick better and won't make a mess of glue all over you eye!)

Then I use my tweezers to apply the lashes to the center of my eye, then to inner and outer corner.

Last I apply liquid eyeliner to the lash band if it is showing, then I curl my lashes with the false lashes. This helps them blend together
Then...
They're on!

Lashes are fun to wear and can be super easy to apply!
All you need is practice :)
