~Soft Natural Makeup~

Hey everyone! So is it just me or wearing a lot of make up for a few days just makes you want to wear hardly anything at all?!?! I just feel like I need to give my face (and eyelashes) a break every once in a while. Well I felt that today and I decided to go a bit less on the make up.
For the eyes I decided to lay off of the false lashes that tear out my eyelashes :( :( (sorry lashes) and apply some mascara, trying to to apply too much. Then some natural eyeshadow. I was inspired my Holly Madison. I never realized how natural and gorgeous her daily eye make up was! HERE'S a pic.
Next for my face, I applied light liquid foundation, some powder, and a little bit of blush on the apples of my cheeks.
For the lips I used a pink lip gloss. (Beige NYX)
Last, filled in brows and ta da! that's it.
It was so nice to wear less make up. It didn't take to long and my husband loved it lol.

Hope you all enjoyed :)

Small Change *New Hair*

Hey everyone! So the other day my cousin came over so I could put some blonde streaks in her hair, once we got done there was still a bit of bleach left so I decided to put a little bit of streaks in my hair....
I put a little bit in the front on my bangs (I cut some bangs into my hair) and a little bit on my left side. I didn't want to go all out, just a little bit to warm up my face. (wow I think I used "bit" a bit too much lol)
For a date night I threw in my extensions...

It is really easy to dye/ bleach your own hair! I went from spending hundreds on getting my hair done at a salon to spending somewhere around $15 or less by just running to my nearest Sally's to buy supplies to do so. You can also ask the sales associates at Sally's for help and advice on hair dyeing/ bleaching.

Hope you all enjoyed!

Review: Sassi Eyelashes

First I just want to say HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE! I hope everyone is enjoying their day regardless if they have a lover or not! My sweet mother and grandma came by to give the hubby, the kids and I some Valentine treats just like every year! And my sweet hubby gave me some roses and a cute Guess bag, he knows me well!

So my review I have today is about Sassi false eyelashes. I found these at Gen X clothing when I was grabbing some things for my sis-in-law. I'm not really sure where else they sale them, or if they have a website but I found that Cherry Culture sells them.
I bought these for $3 and they are #47. I am a fan of lashes that get long towards the ends so I snatched these right up! They are long as well, but not to the point that you can tell they are oh so fake.

It also includes clear glue. I didn't use it because I am in love with Duo lash adhesive, the glue it came with seems like it just wouldn't hold up, and I wasn't going to take any chances because I was going on a date with my husband.

And lashes are 100% human hair.

They were really flexible so it was easy to apply and the lash band is pretty thin sit looks a bit more natural.

Hope you all enjoyed!

*Haul*Old Navy

A few days ago my hubby and I went to Old Navy to check out what they had. I got a few things for myself pretty cheap.

I got this cute black bag on sale for only $13.49! It's pretty big inside so I can carry baby things around and has cute pockets on the outside I can store other things in.
Another thing I grabbed were these flats. They're a grayish taupe color with silver, round studs on them. I got these for $22.50
Then I got this black and white striped scarf for only $10.00 dollars!
They also had this really cheap sale on kids clothes, most of the prices were $6 dollars to $10. Out of a few things here's some jeans I got for my son and I got my daughter some outfits for the summer. I'm not sure if the sale is still going but they have some pretty cute things there!

Hope you all enjoyed!

Valentines Day Look: Smokey eye

Hey everyone! I wanted to show you guys some makeup looks for Valentines Day coming up :) Hopefully I can get some time to do more, some day's I barely have enough time to put my hair up in a bun (like in the pics lol). But i'll try!
The first look I wanted to do was the fabulous "Smokey Eye" I thought it would be simple and sexy for a date or what ever you are doing that day. I'm not really a huge fan of a smokey eye on me because I don't think it looks all that great on me, like it washes me out :S BUT I know it looks great on most.
Here's the look:
The lighting washed out the color on my eyes big time :( but I used the silver in elfs quad 'silver lining' all over my lid and down below on my bottom lash line. Then I used the lighter brown in elfs quad 'butternut' into my crease and also on my lower lash line towards the inner corner of my eye. Next I applied eyeliner, mascara and lashes. Super simple. On my face I put on foundation, powder, contoured my face with some bronzer and a little bit of blush. On my lips I used Wet N Wilds lipstick I just recently reviewed in my last post 'Pink Suga' my absolute fav lipstick right now! :D... with gloss.
Hope everyone has something fun planned for Valentines! The Hubs, my bro-in-law and one of my good friends are goin on a double date! Hope you guys enjoyed ♥

Review: Wet N Wild -Mega Last Lip Color *Swatches* (pic heavy)

Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone!
Recently I stopped by Kmart to Pick up one of my favorite lipsticks, Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Color, and I just wanted to share with you girls what shades I got; Pink Suga' and Just Peachy . I bought these for only $2.99 each! I know they sell these at Wal-Mart as well, but I believe they are cheaper.

Product claims: "Lips take center stage! This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E help smooth lips."

I have been buying these lipsticks for a while, mainly in Pink Suga 900B, but I only have one (or two) things I don't like about them and it is how they label. They do not label the names on the bottom of the tube just the number. The only time the name is labeled is when it is on the seal to take off, so you are stuck with remember the number :/
Another con is is the lipstick top, it is rather flat than most lipsticks.

(Right: Pink Suga, Left: Just Peachy)
Here are some swatches. As far as the color goes, it's great! It's more on the matte side so I wouldn't wear it without gloss, but it goes on so much more smoother than most matte lipsticks. If I could switch the names I would because Pink Suga' isn't really pink at all, it is more on the nude peachy side and Just peachy is more on the pinky side than peach.

Here is Pink Suga' This has to one of my favorite nude colors. I have used it quite a lot. I'm wearing it HERE in one of my recent posts. It goes so beautifully with a smokey eye and doesn't make you look like a corps! I also believe it looks great on just about any skin tone. The gloss I am using in the bottom pic is BonneBell  Lip Lites in Carmel Latte.

Here is Just peachy. This color is such a pretty color. To me it is kinda coraly, pinky. (I know i'm bad at describing colors) I personally don't like this color as much. It doesn't look all that great on my skin tone. I know it would look great on others though. In the bottom pic I am using Wet N Wild Kiss Gloss in Pink Lemonade.

Overall I love these Lipsticks! I have been using them for about 3 months now and keep going back to buy more. They are great quality for a great price, I defenitly recommend buying some!
